Raped Poem by Anita Sehgal

Raped

Rating: 5.0

The dry river beds,

where once were meandering rivers.

Water marks remain,

where once were waterfalls.

Naked mountains cover their shame with a clump of trees,

Mounds of garbage' replace the verdant green.

Gaping wounds on hammered mountains.

Why bewail when nature retaliates?
