Rapsodie Chromatique Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Rapsodie Chromatique

Rating: 5.0

(dedicated to Mr. András Schiff, a brilliant pianist)

a melancholy piece
an opening thirds
blaring fanfare
wild chords

smooth
strength
precision
endurance

the silky green-yellow water
velvety sands cover the beach
the uninterrupted of bustling life
surrounded by blue hills on Northern

the aquatic world
heart-shaped styles
vicarious experiences
open-air performances

a rich array of
miniature replica
unique atmosphere
a stunning panorama

(inspired by Jan Vermeer's A Young Woman Seated at the Virginals)
