the last para says it all.....we all are born to go to the same destined place, but how each one lives his life is different......life is short, life is beautiful, Enjoy it before its too late!

A brief summary of man's life from birth to death! A reminder of the futility of hoarding too much of material possessions! As the poem reminds, what will stay are our good deeds! A very meaningful write! ! (Report) Reply

It's a race we begin all too eager
grow stronger as we catch our wind
    then begin to weary
the closer we approach the end
this is one race we will all make it
we may struggle at the end
come hell or heaven we are doomed
to take a last step in life's dim (Report) Reply

As the greatest leveller on the earth death fulfills his mission ever. When we equate our lives among ourselves we become enlightened. Your poem madam has an appeal to every discerning reader to go insightful ever. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Robert William Service

Three times I had the lust to kill,
To clutch a throat so young and fair,
And squeeze with all my might until
No breath of being lingered there.
