Day unfolding
Empty they lay.

One by one
People enter
Men and women
Young and old.

A coffee, a snack
Bought at the counter
Chairs're occupied
Tables come to life.

Hustle and bustle
Animated dialogue
Peeps at the handy
Computer in palm.

Table and chair
Form the stage
Actors keep changing
Hour by the hour.

Counter's busy
Tables're wiped
Chairs're swiped
Till one calls it a day.

Those who entered
Have left now
Chairs and tables at rest
Ready for action again.
