Real Life
Real life
Comes raining down
Ending the sweetest of fantasies
And crushing the most perfect dreams
A valley of broken smiles
An ocean of dull laughs
Washed away in its silent storm
Peace has been erased
And time passes sluggishly
Like a clock that just won't tick
Fear paralyzes every heart
And murders every spirit
A storm of mixed emotions
Sucking the joy out of all
Feeling a longing
For the perfect ending
And the start of a new beginning
