Reason For The Season



Children with hilarity fill
Adults make hard faces
As the aged make up to request.
Straight jackets become refined
Hustle and bustle encapsulates
The times of the season.
A call for renewal of orientaion
Rebranding psychology
Minding the home call
Change of chemistry
Though dine and wine tarries
But aftermath paints on minds
The foot prints of the messiah
Thus, reason for the season.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The backgorund story is the reason for celebrating christmas. The second coming of the messiah, Jesus, is not seen as the ultimate reason for the 'season' CHRISTMAS CLEBRATION by most christians. The poem is meant to awaken the consciousness of believers towards the last day.
