Rebirth Poem by Joseph KaumphawiMasawanie, Jun.

Rebirth

Cocoon cracks
Death shivering into hiding
At the sound of my heartbeat.

Wings flap
Acrophobia exit in fright
As I am ready for my first flight.

Past pestled into obsoletism
I am a new creature with no history
Prepared to pencil my story

Metamorphosis
Zoe-genesis
I am ready for life
Is life ready for me?
