Reclusive Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Reclusive

Reclusive

Comments talk in absence
One house is destroyed
Many are displaced
Screams explode:
"Owners killed."

"No harm, love extended
Their windows blinded
Others were avoided."

This is all we have learned
Except for:
"Male victim spent time…
Served in jail for ten years
Released was murderer. "

No one knows depth of pain
No one knows the reason
Why did they chose to live
Solitary, avoiding the people?

This case is another
Mystery of hermits.

Mississauga has witnessed
Many such secret deaths.
