Red Dress Tango Poem by Micron

Red Dress Tango

Rating: 5.0

Faces cocked sharply toward one another
Each partner aware of the other but no other
Heads held high, with strong eyes in battle fixed
Her palm pushes on his suited strong muscular chest
Within every space of the room tango music fills the air
Her silken dress skirt unfolds swirling around and about
People watch frozen as the tension between the two mount
Flying wildly flows her long glossy tangled dark hair
Mounting waves of tension they move apart only to then entwine
Their bodies in tune and their shoulders along the same line
Dancing to the music they all are lost in rhythm and time
Fool he’s unafraid of her long sharp killer stilettos,
But they don’t make their mark as each magically knows
Then his right arm sweeping down then across to rest
Skimming near but yet barely touching her left hip
Spinning out wards flowing long legs with a flash of lipstick
Her beaming face tilted straight upwards and yet
Gracefully, skillfully each plans rapidly placing each step.
Moving with complex gyrations hypnotic as life’s storm
She’s suddenly sharply pulled protectively to his hard form
In this moment he felt he had gained, controlled her all
With a swift strong movement pulls her so she will fall
In a moment she surrendered gracefully falling backwards
Caught locked in his arms defiantly eyes staring upwards
For a second she appears secure and quite helpless.
Yet the lady in the red dress remains the center and the focus
Vulnerable she seemed but confusion was her goal
She teased allowing him this temporary illusory control
A slight mischievous smirk and he knows hes not won
The battle of wits has only just begun
After a teasing caress with her trapped thigh.
She pulls free and away energized flying on high
Like roaring tigers they dance sometimes as one
Joined at the hip they are swept along
Then like tides they flow angrily apart
Only for one to pull back to rejoin for they cant part
They continue this lively spiraling dance
And around one another they do tease and prance
With increasing vigor increased high-stepping
Their feet legs are dancing teasing intertwining
Neither their feelings dare each other show
In this dance of the red dress tango
