Red Holocuast

Green beings afire
from a red holocaust
Only God can count
the infinite cost.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The USDA's Forest Service and the DOI like to justify their
'controlled burns' which turn out to be uncontrolled, saying
that older trees survive the fires. Now the fires are so hot,
so big, so fast that older trees are also dying. The lumber
industries of Washington
and Oregon have helped to cause the fires.
