Red Rock Canyon Picnic Poem by Marilyn Lott

Red Rock Canyon Picnic

Rating: 5.0

It was a lovely place for a picnic
Like climbing very high
Straight through clouds to heaven
So beautiful it could make you cry

Green trees were a backdropp
That set apart the colors
Rock, water and yellow flowers
A pallet like no other

Brilliant butterflies lazily fluttered
Amongst the brilliant blooms
What a perfect picnic to have
On a sunny afternoon

The smell of roasting hotdogs
To share with special friends
Chatting about so many things
There can’t be a better blend

I hope you too will someday have
A picnic such as this
It will stay with you always
Like the memory of an Angel’s kiss!
