Rediscovery Poem by Robert Longley

Rediscovery

So is there grass that’s greener
Or more than what you have
Or love in greater abundance
Or more times for to laugh

It all is just illusion
This gnawing feel of lack
And all the wasted moments
To try and get them back

It’s there just where you left it
Though wrinkled, scarred and bruised
The elements of loving
Now somewhat under used

Rediscover those lost feelings
Rekindle love that’s lost
It just needs a little polish
To shine without a cost
