Reductio Ad Absurdum
It started as a lovers spat
He said this and she said that
Things they did not really mean
and turned into a nasty scene.
Insults were flying thick and fast
Each more cutting than the last
.A sad end to a love affair
Too late to apologise
Although both now realise.
What could have been will never be.
