Reflections Of A Time Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Reflections Of A Time

Sitting, combing the loving memories thru
her now graying hair
Mirrored images of youths love, reflected
Her skirt billowed innocently, as she ran
the golden fields, to his arms
He, waiting to embrace the gratification
of her youthful ardor
Wrapping their love around each other,
pausing to catch a breath of passion
Youthful love silently beckoned their
advances
Radiating warmth, bliss and beauty,
soothing their desire with happiness
Once upon a time
