Refugee Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Refugee

She shouts,
'I am English'.

Unnoticed, she
is labelled British.

'But that could
mean anything, '
she cried,
then sighs, defeated.

'Soon, I shall
have no identity.
I am nothing'.

It's true but sad. One is often being labeled by the society.
