Regret Poem by Starrbox Munoz

Regret

I'd take it back, if I could
Everything, every word, every lie, every false hope
I'd go back in time and never have let this happened
I am weak, I am no good, I am a cruel joke of life

Standing alone as I do now, I take comfort in my misery
I embrace my fate to be forever damned
It's not your fault, it's not his fault either, it's mine.
I should not have let this go on
I should not have let myself make such a mistake
I should not have let you both hurt so long
I should not have...I should not have...so many things I should not have done..said...thought...wanted...gotten...
Regrets is all I ended up having...instead because I should not have..
