Regret Poem by Jayson C

Regret

From being humble to being proud,
From being silent to being loud,
From being a small boy
Playing with all his toy,
To being a man seeking for true joy.

A lot has changed since we met
I've made some decisions that I surely regret,
And also made memories that I'll never forget,
But I still wish I can return the love that you once felt,

But even though we stumble upon a gap
We've even split our hearts to half
I still know we can endure this slap
And fix everything to the smallest crack

Life is so different without you
It's like experiencing everything like its still new
My heart became black after it went blue
I just wish you miss me like I do

I know I've done some stupid things
Like making you cry and lose all your rings
It may be too much of me for asking
Comeback to me please, I need your loving

I don't know If you can still forgive me,
I can't promise anything but my faithfulness and loyalty,
I'll never give up on you again, please accept my apology
I miss you so much, please comeback to me

I'm now ready to take a risk again
Fall in love with you and endure the pain
But It's not just about me being ready
I'll wait for the time that you can forgive me

And lastly, I wish you all the best things
Be strong and defeat whatever life brings
I'll be here now through thick and thins
You know my number just let my phone ring
