Regretful Love Poem by nina hanaoka

Regretful Love

As the night slowly passed by
I waited
Knowing that i'll never see him again
I loved
I wished
and I prayed
However whatever i did i'll never see him again
Still i was honestly happy
That i was able to meet him
However i wasn't ever able to talk to him
Or smile/ laugh with him
