Regrets Are Nothing Poem by Nestor David Armas

Regrets Are Nothing

Blood pooling
I don't know where,
Pale eyes
White all around,
Skin through
My bones,
I feel my skull
In my head,
Pulsing
Air in my ears,
Gravity
Doesn't pull
Nor push,
Raise my finger
Grey to the clouds,
Alone in the mist
I feel each drop,
Pitter patter
Like a creature
Fast and light,
Tapping me
On the shoulder,
Don't follow me
To my grave,
Regrets are
Nothing
When I die,
If I turn
Fast enough,
I'll see
My shadow,
Slip away
Pupils to the sky
My feet
Are in my coffin,
Seal the deal
The tombstone
Will say nothing...
