Rejection And More Rejection Poem by Shalom Freedman

Rejection And More Rejection

Even the people who love me
Tell me I am not good enough-

It is not good in old age
To have faults one should have corrected in childhood-

Rejected and insulted
They are probably not wrong -
I am a careless non-thorough person
Who cannot do even simple things right.
