When the attraction is trite
And the lust satisfied,
What would hold us strong?
And keep our love from quenching...
What would keep us anchored
Amidst all persisting adventure elsewhere?

PASSION OR SOLIDARITY!

When the years go by real slow
And progress seems underachieved,
Beautiful contemporary feelings from crushes
Will battle our 'boring' promises to each other,
What would be our solid bulwark; for
Several slower years in our horizon,
That will keep our love from quenching...
Amidst all cajoling newfangled emotions
What would be our Shakespearean theme?
