April showers bring May flowers,
But those tears brought no joy.

What beauty as she shines in the light of the sun,
Full of love, yet her heart impossible to be won.
A woman of nature, a woman of life,
Someday a woman to be someone’s wife.

Woe is my heart for the tears it releases,
Not broken apart, I still have all the pieces.
But oh, how it weeps for this woman I’ve done wrong,
Hear me as I try to keep my voice strong.

Blade dancing along fingertips,
Dragging it through your tender lips…
Fear grips your heart and eyes widen,
The lady of the knife, your welcoming siren.

You left but you’re still in love with me,
You claim that you can’t have my romantics,
And you already see,
It’s not easy for you to always just live without me.

My mind is becoming clouded,
From the last way you sounded;
Your voice with the words you would make,
What time, my enemy, has come to take.

Now you’re gone, you’re too far away.
There was nothing I could say to make you stay,

She’s beautiful like the colors in the sky as the sun falls over the horizon. She’s beautiful like the notes of a piano so delicately pressed by fingers unknown to it, such a graceful melody. She’s beautiful like the smell of a warm home, so welcoming and gentle.

She’s beautiful the way she moves her hips to the beat of her favorite songs. She’s beautiful the way she walks and laughs, how she holds my hand in front of everyone. She’s beautiful the way the birds chirp in the morning, as the sun breaks through the window in cracks.
