Remembering David Poem by jerry hughes

Bewilderment and questions answered
as the curtain quietly fell,
ending the final act.

But the script continues
as it must.
So the players pause,
then as one, applaud.

This was a good life.

Such a simple piece that expresses sentiments that are universal. You have captured death and finality so well. love, Allie xxxx
