Remembering Nana Poem by Reba Hurt

Remembering Nana

Rating: 5.0

A gentle breeze over land
Casting an angel's wing
Gently flying to my nana
Watching her climb aboard
Now she's my guardian angel

Watching over us, she's our angel
Soon we will be together at last
With no worries or tears of sadness
We wait for you all the time nana
Wishing you were back here with us

Feeling so alone and lost without you
We all know it wasn't your time to go
Wondering why you out of all people
Before i knew i was so worried about you
Never did i think it would happen to you

Missing you everyday that passes by
Some harder than others I need you Nana
Everyday we always talked to each other
When i didnt call you were so worried
Calling everyone in town to make sure im ok

Not only were you my nana
You wer the one who raised us
Taking the mother position for us
None of us kids would be here right now
Without you no telling where we'd be

Forever you're my nana in life
Alive or watching over me
No one will ever replace you nana
I see the angel taking you away
Watching with tears stolling down my face

Angel wings are holding you tight
As you look down from above
You are wondering why Im crying
I miss you very much nana
Everyday I wish it never happened

As a tear is stolling down my face
I feel your presence and comfort
Wishing I wouldnt cry over you nana
Knowing you're in a better place
It still hurts everyday without you
