Remembering The Lost Love* (2002) Poem by David Joel Rodriguez

Remembering The Lost Love* (2002)

Rating: 4.0

Goodnight my beautiful saccharine Angel of Love.
How did one know such aura you would hold?
Could it be that I am lost without you?

To THINK your name,
I am on clouds above.

Sleep you will in perennial state,
as my life will progress becoming old...
If you wake, I will be in great elation,
For I am he you'll dream of in your deep sleep.
I would love to go to the invention of time,
to take one last look into those tinctured eyes.
If you are gonna try and scare me,
and YOU want ME to see;
let me know with a simple zephyr,
so I can know exactly where you are.
