Reminiscing Poem by D.L. Aceves

Reminiscing

Rating: 5.0

I miss the things I used to do.
All the carefree things from childhood.
What happened to that life I knew?

A time when everything was new;
A time when everything felt good.
I miss the things I used to do.

Life moved along much slower too;
A decent pace I understood.
What happened to that life I knew?

I did the things I wanted to;
I'd repeat them all if I could.
I miss the things I used to do.

That time was better in my view;
It flowed the way I thought it should.
What happened to that life I knew?

A pity all of that is through.
If I could head on back I would.
I miss the things I used to do.
What happened to that life I knew?

It must have been good old times to be reminiscent of days gone past. Takes one into the past.

A lovely poem going back to the days when we enjoyed the simple life. Ah! if we could regain some of those days! Good.
