Remnants Of Someone That I Knew Poem by G J Salgado

Remnants Of Someone That I Knew

A rebel without a trace or vindictive cause,
Angelic demon without such remorse.
Hidden devil with murder in her eyes,
Angels that cannot see them from the skies.
Innocence is broken without reasons why,
Rhymes with all that has left her in the sunrise to die.

Will it make Jealous Jesika cry tears for her own revelations spoken,
Cry for her lost soul and the rest that remain frozen.
Her sob stories won't last for very long,
I hear it in the words of her first song.
History repeating between the line,
In hopes that she has taken the time.

This moment that will not last,
Will Jesika rise from the past.
Or will she fall like all the rest,
To dwell from the lies that she kept.

Tastes like the salt from my breast,
Upon her wicked lips that turn to dust,
Dwelling underneath the rotten pits as she takes her last breath.

Whose remains are these of the burdened that now show,
Perhaps it is Jesika, remnants of someone that I no longer know.
