Renewing Old Ties Poem by Heather Burns

Renewing Old Ties

Just as our relationship
was beginning to blossom

you turned, viewing in
another direction

after a space of absence
returning to renew old ties

but the season has changed
those ties have been broken.

Rich is a realism that is rabid yet refreshing.

Moral may be drawn like - - Love is very pure & delicate. Once it turns it's face it never returns with that purity............Very nice

One can't turn away and expect others to wait. Beautifully expressed.

Broken ties sure don't need the brainless ego returning to play with anyones emotions and so many men and women fall into the trap of users...great poem on ties Heather...regards

Life can be so perfect than in an instant pure pain. Some of these ties have kept us safe but were we happy? Thank you for your words Heather

It is unfortunate! The snapped ties can at any time be linked together! Curt and sweet!
