Replacing Joy Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Replacing Joy

Reaching forward into depths of bereavement, glistening tears, sparkling and hoping to be taken to fields of picturesque happiness.
Never wanting to be laid out upon the grass of yesterday's mazes.
Taking away the joy and replacing it with a solemnity deeper than any depth upon this earth.
