Rescue Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Rescue

Rating: 5.0

Don't talk to me in silence
I feel unkind
To stand before the stream
And beg for its voice to know
What is in your mind

Don't flicker your eyelids and
Create a spark
I have to look for a glowworm
To understand their beauty
As it comes out in dark

Don't spread your hair like a
Thick shroud
To know what soothing essence
It hides in its depth like rain
I have to watch a cloud

Please don't throw the magic
Of your sidelong glance
I watch the placid horizon to
Bath in the love it bears as if
Fallen into a divine trance
