Rest in Peace, Wes Vogler

I'm afraid that Old Wes is no more;
he is not posting poems like before.
It would be a delight
to observe the grand sight
of that guy walking in through my door!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Wes has not posted anything new since June 24, more than a month ago. He is ninety years old, and though we would like to, nobody lasts forever. He has probably gone to that Great Poetry Convention in the Sky. Wes, we love you, Buddy, and we miss you!

Oooooops! Great news! I think Wes is still around after all! I just went to his AllPoetry site and he posted a poem just yesterday! Hooray! Woo Hoo! False Alarm! False Alarm! He has just given up on Poem Hunter, apparently. Who can blame him?

In case you didn't see my comment at the very bottom of this list, Wes is still alive and kicking and posting new poems every day at AllPoetry. He just is not posting on this shaky site anymore.

Sorry to think that he would have gone....! Many of our friends disappear out of sight. It is true that we all have to succumb to the inevitable one day or the other.... still! He was a great limerick writer!

Kim, Probably Wes is just taking a break from his " Day to Day" and will be back soon.

Nice limerick. I was going to say he posts to another site, but I see you've found that out.
