Resurrection Poem by David Harris

When we think of Easter
we think of resurrection,
but there are other resurrections
that can happen in our lives.
We get to that point
where we can go no further.
We slip into an abyss
from which there seems no return.
Then one day we will meet someone
who will within a few words,
change our life around.
A resurrection takes place within us
making us better than we were,
driving us on and on to success.
The success we craved for,
but always seemed just out of our reach
and then our resurrection is complete.
