Revelations Poem by Champion Chris

Revelations

Avenged and disturbed, as blood runs black,

To be betrayed by love, she'll never look back,

Soldier in strength, man in faith,

Man will fall, by corruption's wraith,

A boy and girl, thought what was love,

The boy was shattered, she left him in cove,

He fought for days, demons and lies,

All who sought, to make sure he dies,

She smiled with glee, but her heart crushed with shame,

Lost to her, was their immortal fame,

Her virtues were shattered, his memories she hurled,

Now she knows, away she threw the best in the world,

So now he fights, for a different cause,

Love held him back, like a picture on pause,

Sword taken again, he rises to war,

Her name he whispers, for death is in store,

Blood has fallen, the boy is struck,

She screams to him, their love was no longer in luck,

Broken and shattered, the boy looks to past,

Where he thought their love, would forever last,

The enemy glared, at the helpless reviver,

Then hefted his sword, to undue love's survivor,

His body now lifeless, slumps to the ground,

Her heart has shattered, darkness surround,

His final words, pierced her heart,

"My love yours forever, till death do us part",

Her eyes full of regret, she took his hands,

The very ones, that protected her lands,

And said with sincere, and said with lease,

"Racquescat in Pace my love, rest in peace."
