Revenge Poem by Ikari No Mae

Revenge

I'm not a killer but don't push me,
Revenge is the sweetest thing next to love.
It will envelop you in it's dark embrace.
Sooner than you think you won't recognize yourself in the mirror.

Some people pick on others for fun, not realizing the damage.
They keep on doing it thinking it's okay, it's not.
Then the kid just blows a gasket one day, and claims their revenge.
That's how school shootings happen.

Murder is like trying to open someones eyes to danger.
If someone owes money, they will kill their family first.
That's how it starts, then it escalates, into a full blown war.
I've been caught in the middle before,
If anyone ever wants to know what pain is, I'll show them my pictures.

Most people now can only get revenge.
The definition of revenge is retaliation.
That's exactly what it does to you.
Builds up the rage, then it happens.
