Ribbons For Boys And Girls Poem by Harriet James

Ribbons For Boys And Girls

Rating: 5.0

Keep writing for the boy
And I'll keep singing for the girl

Write ribbons and ribbons
That will turn into beautiful bows
Multicoloured bows for his kite
Flying in the cleared air

I'll sing ribbons
And ribbons too
While saying goodnight
Scarlet ribbons for her hair

An air so soothing
It will quiet them to sleep
This boy and girl
Without a care

Summative herald of childhood innocents, yes that’s the best way to describe this, you wrote about ribbons but you gave me gold. A beautiful write.

Let us read the written ribbons to see the beautiful rainbow. Good advice to think and follow! Beautiful poem HJ.

Harriet, from you, young lady, I can always bank on a sweet, upbeat, pleasing to the eyes verse...Well Done! ~FjR~
