Rid Princess In Me Poem by michael moyo

Rid Princess In Me

Look at them, wow!
They have muck in their finger nails and dust on their feet
Bright lights dancing in town

I need a bit normality
No such thing as automated breakthrough
I want a croft so I can bent to toil
Ordinary people are as though free souls, they do what they please, the breeze
I don't want to rule

Father I'm crossing my political line
This is a man thing
I hate to be shot at, especialy when my people are in time of dispair

Big lock on my mouth on special occassions not for silly or simple words to come out
Expectations are high, and I know I can't succeed
I hate to be shot at
I want to be ordinary
Rid off special stone in me

Being ordinary is better than wearing nice expensive hats, and my late mother's channel suits
Good bye princess
