Riding Pathways Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Riding Pathways

Grasping reins in my hand,
lazily sitting in the saddle,
looking at the beauty of the
desert around me.

Riding across pathways,
reserved for desert animals, alone.

Now they're sharing their little
secrets with me and my horse as we
ride towards the mountains.
