Rig Divers North Sea Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Rig Divers North Sea

Where the Leviathan lurks
in silent depths
and dribbles its
down turned gape
in sick contempt,
Neptunes sons
courageous tasks
do make about
their salty underworld
in reverence
of its rules.

Where umbilicals surface
and are fed
with good support
and reward for all.
Constant vigil reigns.

Hearts do sink
on home horizons
when disaster stikes
the unknown mermen
of an island currency.

a reminder of the boys out there battling the vagaries, the buffeting raw elements....your lines paint a vivid and uncanny picture of a 'real mens' life loved it cheers

''on home horizons/ when disaster stikes''-very well penned message-the question is -did divers find anything relevant?
