Rightfully Unanswered

Wondering if you're doing fine,
I regretfully say that you're not mine.
A smile here, a wink there,
I wonder if its really fair.
Imagining my life with you,
Happiness, through and through.
Only in my troubled mind,
For in reality I'm left behind.
Forgotten at a sudden turn,
With treasured memories and lessons to learn.
A road of hardship I wish would end,
A valued person I called my friend.
Invitations made in vain,
Hearing your voice drives me insane.
Seeing your face would bring sadness abound,
I'd dropp to my knees and pray on the ground.
'Oh, Dear God! This time make it last,
I've learned from my mistakes in the past! '
