Ring That Will Be Poem by Bobby Pask

Ring That Will Be

I can't wait
For that day
When we let fate
Take us away.

You've got a grip
On my soul.
I'm ready for the trip
And to set that final goal.

I need you
In my life.
It's true
I want you to be my wife.

The time has been
Oh so very short.
Let me know when
You're ready for that court.

I want you to
Feel the way I do.
To always feel new
No matter what we go through.

There is so much
I wish to say.
But it's just a bunch
Of jumbled thoughts in the way.

I need your
Arms around me.
Your hand for
The ring that will be.

Not even together
But not apart.
I don't even want to think of another
Or try another part.

You've got me
Right where I wanna be.
Can't you see
What it'll be like to marry?

I want your hand
In holy matrimony.
Put me in dreamland.
Will you marry me?
