Riptide
I thought you were by my side
Against this riptide
My heart left broken
By words he'd spoken
I'm left with these tears
against my cheeks, with all these fears
In my head
What was just said?
I don't know what to do anymore
My whole body left sore
Having a broken heart
I'm literally torn apart
Just leave me be, and let me cry
Your love was just a lie

I like this poem a lot. Who cannot identify with those feelings. 'I'm left with these tears aganist my cheeks' Good lines.
