Rise Poem by Soul Searcher

Rise

Demon from hell
Boned wings sprouting
The dead has been risen
Hear them shouting

All that is lost
And all that is found
Go to the darkness
Fill it with sound

Hear them scream
As they see you appear
Laugh at their faces
Terror and fear

Rise from the dark
No need to hide
Tear them apart
They who have lied

They who forgot
Who you once were
Rise up again
Kill and conquer

But halt your madness
When you see her face
When you see her smile
Feel her warm embrace

Yield to the lullaby
That is her voice
Yield dear lover
'Tis no matter of choice

Let your heart melt
From it's hardened state
Accept her hand
Which offers your fate

Only once more
Let your mortal heart beat
Dance through the night
Sweep her off her feet

Watch her laugh
As the world decays
Her eyes are on you
And not it's ways

Her home may burn
But her heart is with you
Hear it beating
Beating only for you

Sleep dear lover
Sleep once more
But not forever
I do implore

With the next full moon
In it's darkness rise
Reclaim your throne
And my heart, your prize

Wow! This was a GREAT rise! The poem simply shot forth, once it broke through from ground level! It was a fine journey from which we all need to learn how to break the face. I have read all four of your poems today and they ALL seem to be highly charged inspirations. Always the best sort of poetry imho! Reads like your soul is doing a great job for your muse! Keep it up. Smiling at you Tai
