Rivers Of Tears Poem by Kuda Bondamakara

Rivers Of Tears

Rating: 5.0

There are rivers that flow
Red tears from the brow
Meandering to the deep ocean
Whose edges're assaulted by emotion
Heart after heart left broken
Trails of promises forgotten.
Every try ending in a sharp cry
With the watery eye seeing no bye.
The world watches in wonderment
Awed by the tattered fragments.
Who shall console the heart;
When it has been left torn apart?

Really a poignant rendition in a verse with rhythmic splendour. Very passionate with strong emotions. Thanks for sharing, Kuda.

Who shall console the heart; When it has been left torn apart? sense of loss leads to despair..... but life is more than that. one who is able to get up and challenge and become great is really a man or a woman worth it.. thank you dear poet.. tony
