Road Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Road

Road

Wonder if you have seen
A lost life, corpse, lying
On the road, forgotten.

I have seen.

Heard lion roar in me:
"Get close, study."

So, I did.

Raccoon was in blood
Black, Brown, Striped.

Still warm, was fresh,
Spirit lingered there.

Got closer, we talked:
"Everyone believes in
Your plans and tactics,
I see this! Can tell me? "

"Was for food, children
And greed of the men…"

The rest was for me to
Guess and think, imagine.

I knew of hunger
When pushes to corner,
The good hand in kindness
Solves all the problems,
But if not, comes fire…

Molotov, knife, dagger
And the burning gasses…

And in times, drivers
Speed, add pressure,
Overrun the walkers
Raccoon was example!
