Roam Sweet Roam Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Roam Sweet Roam

Emotions call from the west
Compass the east
Paradise in-between
A refuge, an oasis of beauty
Deep within this heart beating prophecy

Up north there are no limits
South, So many places to go
Going everywhere in these dreams
Staying true to these ambitions
In hope of growing

Digging deeply felt
Soul finding its place
Nomadic journey into the forever
There are so many ventures to roam

Energetic charges of bliss
Warmth cleansing the air
New direction to breathe
Magical guidance of a pristine bright euphoria

Arms reaching out
Embracing the change foretold
Visions of dreamy porcelain artistry
In a haven soon to be explored

Healing touch of spire
Atop a mountain of closure
Falling down for another go
Living it up in a life of guile exposure

Controlling what I can
Within the strength these thoughts command
Balancing eclectic desires
In the aspirations of being more diverse than ever before

Judge me not into temptation
Just trying to live life beyond my own personal worthwhile

I am uninhabited, awaiting the call of her wild
I am a man within the method of any and all directions
Taking myself on with great pride
Walking tall in gallant strides
Waiting for a better tomorrow

A multitude of decisions ahead
Sweating emotional reverence
Anxiety resting at ease
Atop fearless self-restoration
As these eyes paint the skies ahead
An endless adventure
Painted in the desires of a dreamy poetic muse

These eyes inspired by the art of love
A masterpiece flowing gracefully
In strides of beauty these eyes have never gazed before

And just when I thought beauty had an ending
I am proven wrong;
These eyes they seize so much more

May these visions guide me every which where
I am not ready to make myself right at home

My abode is everywhere, roam sweet roam!
