Rock Poem by Annabelle Cahanding

Rock

Remind me that we are in a real world and not in fantasy,
Because you see, I'm always in an imaginary mode really,
And please remind me to wake up and to stop dreaming,
Because in real life our world is full of pain and suffering.

Opening one's life and heart to somebody is so hard to do,
For someone like me whose life is sick and shattered too,
But something in you that I have seen and have feel,
Your encouraging and comforting words soothe and heal.

Certainly we set our limits and we set our boundaries,
Friendship is the only thing we can share and promise,
And time will pass, years may come and years may go,
The friendship we share will definitely and surely grow.

Keep this mind, keep this in heart and never forget,
I am a friend and will be your friend till my last breath,
A real friend, a friend who will always stay by your side,
Whether we are in fantasy world and in our own real life.
