There is so much excitement in the air
When the Rodeo comes to town
Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages
Along with that horsy sound
Western hats atop all those heads
Boots with the unique design
Saddles of every size and color
Are another ingredient we find
The horses just know that it’s time
To strut and prance and show off
Remember to do what they learned
Now they will definitely do their stuff
And let us not ever forget the bulls
Scary and tough and mean
But not really, I have visited them
And they aren’t the way they seem
So get ready, folks, it’s nearly time
Whether you’re city or country hick
Clear your calendar of everything
So you can enjoy the rodeo magic!
