Romance Poem by hajara abdul khader

Romance

Rating: 0.5

I feel something strange and mysterious.
There's romance in the air.
I smell it, sweet and blissful;
A previous life connection, or,
Music that binds two souls,
Whatever be the name,
It gives me a sense of longing,
What I'm not aware of,
But builds up as a force inside me, to escape.
The torture is humiliating.
It kills me to the core, and lingers like a curse.
A burning fire pokes a stake across my heart;
It's like a vampire thirsty for human blood.
A chaos is released into my cosmos
To retain the bond lost long past.
I do not strike good chord with my belonging,
I regret for my self that weeps over
That which is lost forever in the wilderness of life.
Life gives nothing but sorrows;
I'm been neglected, as always,
There's no romance!
