Roses And Thorns Poem by Sutha rajakumar

Roses And Thorns

My life was not a bed of roses;
but a layout of thorns,
As i pricked my fingers,
I learnt my lessons,
A person should experience,
To know what it feels like to do or to be like,
Laughter and sadness are part of life,
An excessive dossage of both is lethal,
A balanced life has to be encountered,
To know the true meaning of life,
Age is nott the measurement of experience,
But how far you have taken risk in life is the measurement,
Go on with the flow in life,
Good days and bad days will happen throughout,
Seconds, minutes, hours, days, years and decades,
But once you find the purpose in life,
You would live a life to achieve.

Life is a trail....sometimes we choose most popular trails thus avoiding some relevant experiences. As Robert Frost said...' it would do some help if we chose the less traveled path' and learn new experiences.
