Roses Cry Angels Tears

Roses cry my baby angel tears
soft petals catching my fears
White is the color that I cry
for my Innocence that has died
Red I cry from my little heart
the many times it's been torn apart
Peach the color of my soul
I cry these tears in shades of golds
Roses cry my baby angel tears
soft petals catching all my fears.

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
